Well, it's about time I updated this thing, isn't it? Can you tell I've been busy?
First of all, this is the new kid on the block.
It's called 'The Watcher' and made of mild steel, life-size. It is one of the new pieces for my show at Strychnin Gallery Berlin at the end of the year. I will also be in a group show at the same gallery in November. It will be an all male group show called 'The Boys are Back in Town'.
I am currently in the process of renewing my contract with Strychnin, so I will be represented by them for another 2 years.
Closer to home, I will be part of the bi-annual open air exhibition in Saive in May and June.
The "30 Somethings" show is going on the road. We will be at the old Dominicus Church in Antwerp in late March, early April, but more on that later.
So far that's it on the exhibition front. I'm not doing too many shows this year but concentrating on making new stuff for Berlin.
We are however off on a little trip soon. We will be in Bilbao, Spain, from friday till monday. Next month it's off to Berlin (for the first time this year, with more to come) and in May we'll be in Porto, Portugal. Summer will find us on a 2 week exploration of Poland: Poznan, Worclaw, Krakow and Warsaw, after a stop in Berlin to see Lisa Fong's show at Strychnin Gallery.
So we have busy days ahead but also a lot of good things to look forward to.
I will do my best to keep LiveJournal updated, but you can always find me on FaceBook, which is where I am most these days.
