Imagine how great it would be to have a male serenading you outside of your window into the wee hours of the morning. I had such a an experience this weekend, except not with the kind of male I wanted...
A cricket has decided to take up residence outside my window.
All night it serenaded me.
As I understand it, male crickets chirp to attract females. And, I also understand that Hoboken is a hot spot for hooking up. But since Hoboken is a CITY and not THE COUNTRYSIDE, the likelihood of my cricket finding a female is slim.
I am not sure why this cricket decided to move to Hoboken, but I am about to evict his ass.
