So all the Reading Week hoopla is over and I wrote two midterms today: Astronomy and Chemistry. I didn't study as much for chemistry as I would have liked to, but I got out of both with plenty of time to spare. That's a rarity for me - I typically stay until the last dog is hung and I never would have guessed I'd finish both early.
So what did I do for Reading Week? Well, I did everything!
No, seriously. Everything that was available to be done, I did. Here's the rundown:
Modern Physics
- Reading
- Reading Quiz
- Assignment
Astronomy
- Assignment
- Variable Star Exercise
- prepared for the Solar Lab (it's all on a clipboard ready to go - weather didn't cooperate in terms of actually doing it)
- studied for the midterm
Chemistry
- Assignment
- Lab prep
- Formal lab report (this alone took 12 hours)
- studied for the midterm
Physics
- Reading
- Reading quiz
- Assignment
- Lab prep
Math
- Okay, this one I gave short shrift. There aren't any graded assignments for the course, but this week I need to concentrate on the midterm, which I think is on Friday but we'll confirm tomorrow in the lecture (and probably get the location if it's not already known).
