Pottermore: I am confused!
I answered the question/puzzle, went to the website and "found the magical quill," registered (I am MarauderOak42; it's a nice enough name I suppose. I've never joined a site that made you choose from pre-chosen names), verified my account through email... so does this mean I will get to access the website early?
I'm just confused because the pottermore website looks different when I am logged in than when I am logged out, and when I'm logged in it says "To ensure the exciting world of Pottermore is as magical as possible, a million lucky registrants will be given early access to the site to help us shape the experience before the site is open to all in October. If you are selected, please keep checking your inbox, because from 31st July you will receive an email granting you early access to Pottermore!"
Which leaves me wondering if I've already been selected or if I'm just a step closer to being selected.
I'm not really expecting anyone to know the answer (but if you do it would be nice if you'd share), I'm just saying: Pottermore, try to be more confusing.
ETA: OMG LOL this notice just popped up at the top of LJ "LiveJournal is currently up, but experiencing some temporary issues. You may encounter occasional site slowness, pages failing to load or returning error 503, and error 500 when attempting to post long entries and pictures. We are working to resolve these issues as quickly as possible."
On the ball with that one, aren't we?
