A side note
If any of you were ever wanting to watch a movie that involved absolutely *nothing* Japanese, Monsters Inc. is surprisingly not the one to watch. It actually has two Japanese scenes. One during the chase scene through the doors and another in the sushi bar towards the beginning. In the sushi bar scene you can experience a very common theme in Japan, which is having people should "irashaemase!" (welcome to this shop / restaurant / etc.) when you walk into a store. They say the word twice during the sushi bar scene.
