I keep getting weird flashbacks to places. I don't really know how to describe it better than that, though flashbacks sounds like something that only happens in TV/movies or to people on drugs, but I just...I keep getting these bizarre flashes of moments and places and people, no rhyme or reason to them, and then I'm back in the present again. I don't think this has ever happened before, and I'm not quite sure why they've started now. It's kinda disconcerting.
ANYWAY, sorry. Tomorrow I'm having a LOTR marathon with friends - extended editions, fuck yes - and I am looking forward to it. I love movie marathons. I also really like baking, so tomorrow is either homemade oreos, vanilla chai cookies, or brownies of some sort. I am trying to make up my mind. So many difficult life decisions going on.
I saw Blue Valentine this week and I really liked it. It felt a lot like Revolutionary Road, but...better. I cared more about the characters, and I felt like there was actually a glimmer of hope. Anyway, I love both Michelle Williams and Ryan Gosling, and I think it was just an incredibly well-made film, which I really appreciate. Did anyone see it? Did anyone see any good movies this week?
