MTV, what have you done to me?
Hey livejournal, how's it going? Today I went to drop off a few more resumes even though I'm nearly positive no one is going to hire me for seven weeks, and I think one of my best chances is another dollar store. But here's a handy tip - you know you've been working at a dollar store for too long if you walk into another dollar store and get all excited because a) everything totally is actually a dollar! and b) it's all so organized! Yeah. These are the things that excite me.
In other news, fs_exchange continues to be awesome. I really like this Johnny/Evan one with voyeur!Brian, because apparently that's a kink of mine; who knew? Also this Johnny/Evan with a really interesting D/s dynamic. But my favourite so far is probably Unison, a Johnny/Stephane fic (I know, it's shocking!) in which they are pairs skaters. I just love the way the dynamic is written between them; they fight and they're both brats at times, but I also love the closenes that comes with skating pairs with someone.
In other news, Easy A looks like an interesting movie. I mean, I admit, you've got literary references, hilarious parents (Stanley Tucci!), attractive female lead, attractive love interest, interesting plot, Amanda Bynes looking kind of Mandy Moore-from-Saved!-esque, and good song choices for the trailer, so...I'm pretty much gone.
And okay, because I am self-indulgent: I am currently talking to alexthegreat and trying to determine which bandom person and which skating person I am most like. Alex thinks I am Victoria, which is kind of hilarious and awesome. Any other thoughts? Seriously, I am so curious!
And finally: I get to see Passion Pit this weekend! And then I get to see Weezer and Arcade Fire in the coming weeks! SO EXCITED.
