I can say without a doubt that tonight was the greatest moment in my sports history career. When the Prehistoric Mammels were down by 1 at half time, I knew something was going to have to happen. Thats when I called on myself to lead this charge. This was only the second time I had played offense on the squad, because usually I play a pretty mean defense, but I knew I was ready. After the puck was dropped, I quickly had a shot on goal that barely missed the net. That's when I could tell this was my night. About two minutes later, a two on one developed. Everything slowed down for that one moment, and I knew what had to be done. My wingman passed me the ball, which made the goalie commit to his side. It was all open net, all I had to do was put the ball in the backside and the game would be tied. I laid my broom on the ice and chopped the ball right where it needed to go, causing my first goal ever in a sport above the 5th grade level when I used to play basketball, so it was a rather exciting moment. The Mammals went on to win the game 3-2, thanks in part to my game tying goal. Between the win for the Mammals, St. Patrick's Day on Thursday, and the start of March Madness on the same day, this week is shaping up to be one of the greats. Good shit, good shit.
I also just recieved this good news from my Asian connection on the inside, which just keeps adding to the goodness:
