ºV-ictory so glorious
This post is filled with ºC-ute love.
First of all: ℃-ute is the Best New Artist at the 49th Japan Record Award!
How awesome is that? When Berryz Koubou were formed, ℃-ute were the 'leftovers', even this year Umesan called her own group like that (by mistake.. of course). C-ute started out as background dancers, and by doing small FC events. After almost two years, in 2007:
- They're the first group to debut at weekly #5 (Def Diva doesn't count anyways)
- Cutie Circuit is seriously the greatest thing ever. Everyone can watch them. It's not a limited FC event.. hell, it doesn't even deserve to be qualified as an event.
- They got their own theather play.
- Their 2008 calendar rocks.
- Tokaikko Junjou, one of the coolest non-idol-sounding songs, sold 28k in the first week, and 9k in the second. HA.
- They got two award nominations, and one award (the one mentioned in the second line of this post). Prize. Recognition. Awesomeness.

Here starts another great Tokaikko Junjou performance (though I'm yet to watch a bad performance of Tokaikko)

Oh yeah, I almost forgot. They were LIVE. As in, not lipsynched.
If Umesan didn't wore those pigtails, she would have looked HOTHOTHOTHOT, which isn't good for anyone's sanity. So, thank you, Umesan's stylist.
Chisato. ♥ her because she can sing her ass off.

CHISATOOO T_T Just watching that face makes me wanna cry.
So it's not that Maimai doesn't realize about the importance of the award, see: she's happy and there are some tears in her eyes. She just doesn't cry out loud.
