Despite a few interesting ideas I've read on this device, I'm taking Walter Sullivan back to the police station as we agreed the day before. From this point on, I'm volunteering myself to watch over him during his stay. Visitors are going to have to deal with me hanging around as well ( Read more... )

Hey. Edgeworth and Iroh have agreed that Chii and Prince and I should take Walter. So...when I find someplace to keep him, that's what's gonna happen.

Sorry. But for the time being, I'm gonna have to say, "No thanks."

I'm getting a lot of support for this idea here, and I don't see how it's much different from yours. So I gotta ask why you're not keen on it.

The reason I'm not keen on it is because that really only helps you.

That's not true. It helps him, because he'll be taken care of, it helps Prince and Chii, because they'll be with him, and it helps Discedo, because he'll be out of everyone's hair.

Out of sight, out of mind? Is that what you're getting at? Sorry, but there's a difference between saying "The guy who killed so many's being watched over in prison" compared to "He's just around the city with friends," especially to the people he's killed.

He won't be there forever. But for now, it's better if he stays.

I ain't gonna let him run around willy-nilly. We'd be guarding him as much as we'd be "coddling" him, as everyone likes to put it. And like I said, other people here seem to think it's a good deal.

He's not a baby. He's a grown man, fully aware of what he's done. It's his responsibility to deal with the consequence of his actions, just like any other criminal.

It's not as if you and your friends can't see him. But for now, he stays with us. You can "coddle" him when you visit.

.....

Alright. I ain't gonna argue with you cause I got better things to do. I'll talk it over with the others.

And, for the record - don't go thinkin' I don't know what he's done. I think I know very well what he's done.
