"I'm Spider-Man. Please don't freak out. I just, I didn;t knwo how you'd react, which is why I didn;t tell you sooner."

"I've been hurt. Remember when I said I got mugged? I actually got the crap beaten out of me by some who;s now a friend of mine. And as for why, as corny as thins is, you guys , intentionally or not, taught me that with great power comes great responsibility. I felt had to do this. And responsibility is part of the reason I'm telling you guys this now."

"Okay, you know about Danny Phantom right? And about that ghost girl that's been teaming up with me lately?"
"Yes..."
"She's Danny's clone. It's a long story, but she doesn't exist on paper, which is why I need to ask you guys a couple of favors. I want you to adopt her."

"Look, I know it's crazy and stupid of me to ask, but I don't have too many other options here. If it wasn;t for her ghost powers I'd try to set her up someplace else, but she does have them."
"We'll think about it, but we'd to meet her first. What are the other favors?"
"Just one. Please don't make me stop being Spider-Man."

"Look, I know I'm endangering myself. I know I could get hurt. But being Spider-Man is one of the best things that's ever happened to me. I like helping people, and I like swinging around New York on a webline. And, much as I care bout Megan, I love the fact that I have more friends to hang out with besides her."
