When Alice woke up Tuesday morning, and began dressing herself for class -- and, of course, mok'bara after that, and her work shift following that -- something strange happened.
She stared at the knee-length blue dress and its accompanying pinafore and felt oddly like they were ... out of place. Something old, something belonging to her, but an Alice she wasn't any longer.
She still had those trousers and light cotton shirts she'd bought from that
pleasant boy at Pixie Dust; ones that had sat idly in her dresser, ever since her purchase. They seemed convenient, comfortable, and thoroughly Not Alice, and so in her dresser they had stayed.
She found a green-colored tee-shirt and a pair of denim jeans, and pulled them on, examining herself critically in the mirror. How odd that they seemed perfectly appropriate today.
Alice nodded at herself. Very well, then. She'd be needing more of these.
(Establishy, but here for roomie or anyone who might knock. OOC NOTE: as of today, Alice is ditching the customary blue dress and white pinafore; unless otherwise noted, she's got on something plain but era-appropriate. But she's still wearing the huge omega necklace. Woo, progress!)
