There is no I in Team
Just been on a two day 'Team Effectiveness' course. Without my team.
I now have all the tools I will ever need to interact successfully, make effective decisions, be empowered and give & receive feedback.
Or not.
Some of it was fun. I did enjoy the looks on everyone's faces at the end of one particular exercise - we were split into pairs, one had to clench a fist and the other had to get it open. Lots of others were trying to force people's hands open, but I just asked nicely and he opened his hand straight away... everyone who'd been struggling physically with their partners looked a bit stunned when I had to say how I'd done it. Heh, the person who told me 'being polite won't get you anywhere' the other day was so wrong ;)
Had the last of Sunday's chicken pie for tea. My honey cooks a damn fine pie :)
