Chapter 24
“If you’re going to tease me about doing that to Jaejoong, please do it next time because I’m so not in the mood to live right now.” Yunho told Yoochun as soon as he entered inside the room, before he even got a chance to speak.
“Yunho?”
Yunho is indeed not in his mood to talk to anyone today. It is the first time, after a long time, that he blamed himself over something. He should’ve met Jaejoong sooner. Three years that they are near each other, in the same city of the same country having one friend in common. He should’ve met him already so things wouldn’t be as complicated as it is now. Jaejoong is now finding… looking for something and longing too much. He has a feeling that one mistake could break the relationship they have.
He promised himself, after knowing what Jaejoong’s dream is, that he will make his dreams come true first before meeting him. Why did he even think of that? It’s not like he’ll die if ever they meet. It becomes senseless now. His reasons are becoming pointless.
“Yunho, I think it’s time for you to make everything in proper. I mean… meet him formally and be a normal couple just like me and Junsu.”
Yunho doesn’t want to listen but he heard it. Another thing why he doesn’t want to meet him is because of his own. If ever they’ll meet, he wouldn’t be helped but be too needy of his presence. Same goes to Jaejoong. His father, too… how is he going to accept the fact that he’s gay? He’s going to disown him. Not that he cares but he still needs his father’s money to do something. But… meeting? ‘God damn meeting! Even I do not know why I don’t want him to meet me!’
“Chun…”
Yunho bowed his head and soon his body is shaking. Yoochun stood there in front of him, surprised that the Jung Yunho is crying… over a man. Love, damn love.
“He is mad at me. What if he suddenly wants to break up?”
“He won’t do that, hyung!”
“I can’t think of any reason why I refuse to meet him up. Before, I thought it’s just fine but now I realized my reasons are all non-sense and childish and I think because of this I’m going to lose him.”
Yoochun stepped forward to hug his best friend. It is rare for him to be this generous. “Do you want to meet him?”
“I… I think I do.”
“Then, let me help you.”

Jaejoong slammed the door to his room making his housemate―his brother―jump in shock in his spot. Junsu ran to his room and knocked. Memories of the night when their grandmother threw tantrums for the first time came to his mind.
“Hyung… can we speak?”
Just like the time when their grandmother first acted like this, Jaejoong refused to open up. He kept on screaming all his frustrations and putting all his disappointments to the things around him. Junsu couldn’t help but sigh and pray for Jaejoong to calm down soon.
Inside the room, Jaejoong stopped moving and he let his tears run down. “Why is it hard to meet me? After three long years we’re going to meet and he’s just going to run away like that? Why? Why?”

Yoochun told his plan to Yunho and right now, they are at Jaejoong and Junsu’s school to make their plan work. They are looking for the brothers for a good one and a half hour already but their presence are nowhere near. They went back to the gates and saw Junsu walking with head hung low and there’s a gloomy aura around him.
“J-Junsu!” Yoochun called hesitantly as he ran to help Junsu carry his bag.
“Chunnie~ um, Yunho hyung…” He replied lazily and smiled bitterly.
“W-why are you not with Jaejoong?” Yunho asked; his curiosity and worry killing him.
“He doesn’t want to talk to me.”
“I-is it my fault?” Yunho asked.
“N-no, hyung. No one’s at fault. It’s just his, um, issues are killing him. He tends to overanalyze things and it’s always not good. Like when he ran away from our… home before.” Junsu smiled to at least decrease the burden he knows Yunho is carrying.
“Hey! Why are you late? You’re three hours late! We arrived here almost two hours ago. I had text you about us being here, right?”
“Sorry, Chunnie, my phone’s not working. I kind of dropped it yesterday when I heard Jaejoong screamed. I was in panic.” Junsu apologized.
“He screamed, why?” Yunho asked but Yoochun nudged him when he noticed that his lover is pale and weak.
“Are you okay, Suie?” Junsu nodded yes and initiated the walk to the inside of the campus.
“Are you really okay? You don’t look fine. Do you want anything?”
“No, Yunho hyung. Um…” Junsu reached for his bag and took out their house key. “That’s one of the extra keys of our apartment. You might want to visit Jaejoong hyung and―” Junsu fainted and luckily Yoochun caught him in his arms.
“Junsu! Junsu!” They both called the man and tried shaking him to wake up but to no avail, he kept unconscious.
“I’ll inform his teachers about this first. Bring him to the infirmary.”

After twelve, Jaejoong decided that he’s hungry and that he needs to eat. He thought for Junsu for a while, thinking if he had eaten something. Last night, he didn’t eat that much. He even thought of making meal and bringing it to school since he already planned on attending his 4PM class only.
He started making a simple omurice and after done, he wrapped it inside a lunch box. He took a bath and got into his school uniform. After preparing everything and fixing himself, he got out of their apartment and made sure the door is locked before jogging down the stairs.
For a moment, he thought of giving Junsu a gift, a keychain, as a token of his apology for his yesterday’s attitude. It is unusually quiet around the road to the store and he just assumed that people are busy at school or work. His shoe’s tie loosened and he bent down to fix it. He heard a shuffle of feet but ignored it since it’s a public road and it’s normal for people to pass.
After tying his shoe, he continued walking and he felt someone following him. He smiled when he’s near the store but his smile fell when someone grabbed him from the back and covered his nose. He smelled something weird and soon, he fell unconscious to the man’s arm.

Yunho just told the teachers about Junsu and they understood the student’s situation because it is Yunho who personally excused him. On his way back to the infirmary, he heard murmurs about Junsu being a social climber for having Yunho personally ask for a permission to skip classes for him but he just ignored it and continued walking.
When he reached the infirmary, he opened the door and saw Junsu already conscious and being fed by Yoochun.
“The nurse said he hasn’t eaten and he’s under stress. That’s why he fainted. Um, Yunho, we have to plot another plan because I don’t think Jaejoong will go to school today.” Yoochun spoke without turning his head to Yunho.
Yunho just nodded and laid his full trust on Yoochun. He noticed Junsu almost choking and he reached for the glass of water. He was about to hand it to Yoochun to make Junsu drink it when it slipped out of his hands. A particle of glass dug inside his finger making it bleed. He stopped moving abruptly, not because of the pain but of his heart beating fast.
“Hyung, are you okay? I’m sorry. You shouldn’t have gotten that.” Junsu apologized; wanting to stand up and help Yunho but Yoochun stopped him and smiled.
“I’ll ask for the nurse to clean it. Yunho, what’s wrong?”
“I―”Yunho put his hand with the bleeding finger on top of his chest, making his shirt be tainted by blood. “J-jaejoong…” He mumbled before storming out of the room and running to somewhere.

Chapter 24
“If you’re going to tease me about doing that to Jaejoong, please do it next time because I’m so not in the mood to live right now.” Yunho told Yoochun as soon as he entered inside the room, before he even got a chance to speak.
“Yunho?”
Yunho is indeed not in his mood to talk to anyone today. It is the first time, after a long time, that he blamed himself over something. He should’ve met Jaejoong sooner. Three years that they are near each other, in the same city of the same country having one friend in common. He should’ve met him already so things wouldn’t be as complicated as it is now. Jaejoong is now finding… looking for something and longing too much. He has a feeling that one mistake could break the relationship they have.
He promised himself, after knowing what Jaejoong’s dream is, that he will make his dreams come true first before meeting him. Why did he even think of that? It’s not like he’ll die if ever they meet. It becomes senseless now. His reasons are becoming pointless.
“Yunho, I think it’s time for you to make everything in proper. I mean… meet him formally and be a normal couple just like me and Junsu.”

Yunho bowed his head and soon his body is shaking. Yoochun stood there in front of him, surprised that the Jung Yunho is crying… over a man. Love, damn love.

“Are you okay, Suie?” Junsu nodded yes and initiated the walk to the inside of the campus.

“No, Yunho hyung. Um…” Junsu reached for his bag and took out their house key. “That’s one of the extra keys of our apartment. You might want to visit Jaejoong hyung and―” Junsu fainted and luckily Yoochun caught him in his arms.
“Junsu! Junsu!” They both called the man and tried shaking him to wake up but to no avail, he kept unconscious.
