(no subject)
When I said I was back to livejournal, I really did mean it..
But then my computer died, my summer got crazy, and the excuses go on and on.
Anyway! Everything is pretty much perfect, but doing an update of everything that's happened for the last 6 months is way too overwhelming.
So!
Yesterday was a really really awesome day, basically. Went into Boston with Lia, Jess and Becca to see Finch (who didn't show up) and ended up just hanging out with... half the people I've ever met. Armor For Sleep played, and sucked, but it was fun regardless... I love being outside in Boston. After "Finch", I went to Nightmare of You with Jess, Mary, Steve, Mike and Matt and spent way too long trying to get them in. Being 18 is really... awesome, to say the least. It all worked out, and everyone had fun.. but I think it's really just important that I mention the highlights. 1. It turns out Mary is the daughter of two of the people in my dad's band, and I've known her for forever, without realizing it was her when I've been running into her lately. So we bonded, and she's rediculously awesome. I got to see her sister Casey, too, who I haven't seen in like 5 years. 2. Jesse Lacey and Brian Lane of Brand New were at the show, rocking out, and the smile on Jess' face was absolutely priceless... I love it when people are happy. 3. Men, Women and Children, and Nightmare of You were INCREDIBLE, and completely made up for the lack of good music at the first show.
So.. If it's been a week or two and I haven't updated, just punch me or yell at me or something.
