It's just possible he hasn't been seen in a little while (hardly any time at all, if you're a god), but now Loki's out in the snowy windy night, building a snowman. And he's wearing a woolly hat, and fuzzy mittens with strings on, and having generally a great time putting this splendid little person together. He's already got a happy half-circle of ( Read more... )

Horus does not like cold. He also does not like snow, shorter days, or anything else usually associated with winter. He doesn't really need to feel the cold if he doesn't want to, but he's actually wearing boots and a turtleneck because of the snow. He stops a short distance away and watches Loki, his expression clearly saying that he thinks that Loki has lost his mind.

Yes, we are aware of that irony. Shush. XD

Loki, as has been established, loves winter (or at least is very good at enjoying it, which you have to be able to when you're from the places he's from), but Horuses are (o, sacrilege!) even better. So, seeing him approaching, he beams and waves, mitten-string flopping.

"Well, now, what's a nice sun god like you doing in a place like this?"

"Looking for you." He settles snuggly against Loki's side, giving the snow an irritated look. "I hate winter."

"Congratulations, you found me." He wraps an arm around his side, snugging him close, if that's a word. "You're silly."

He rolls his eyes and snuggles closer. "You're the one out here playing in the stuff." He shudders. "I will never understand why people like snow."

"If we had sand, you'd be playing in that, admit it." He makes a face, but being busy nuzzling behind Horus' ear, it probably isn't very evident. "Snow at least doesn't get everywhere."

Horus purrs and leans into the nuzzling, he doesn't notice the face. "Sand isn't cold and it doesn't melt."

There may very well be ear-licking here. "Sand is scratchy and gets too hot to walk on. And it gets everywhere. When snow melts it goes away, which is vastly more better." Apparently ears get in the way of grammar. Or something.

Grammar is the last thing on Horus's mind at the moment. "You spend most of your time on fire and you're complaining about something being too hot?" He'd come up with more of an argument, but the ear-licking is making it hard to think.

"That's completely different." Really. And, because Loki can't think of a better point doesn't feel like pressing the argument, Horus is going to find very distractingly wicked things being dome to his earlobe, and a hand slid up under his sweater. The deviousness!

Horus would probably argue the point, but Loki is being so very distracting that he settles for an eyeroll and melts against him, making an encouraging noise.
