The perception of time is an interesting thing. For some of the older passengers, the time has probably seemed to pass quickly, while for some of the new it's doubtless at a crawling pace. The week since Jennifer's sealing seems much longer to me than a simple seven days.

How ironic that I'd be bothered by time passing too slowly.
