Last weekend was the boys golf weekend up at camp. Took my buddy with me (he goes every year) and headed up early on Friday. We golfed on a beutiful mountain course overlooking Lake Winnipasaki (ya, I can't spell it and I could never spell buetiful either).
The day was supposed to be sunny and cool. However, I misjudged the wind. It was howling off the lake, up the mountain and into us. Two or three club lengths of wind (it's a golf measure).
Nonetheless, it was a good time and we played well.
That night we burned up a huge stack of wood for the campfire because it was cooooold. I cooked up steaktips, corn on the cob and baked potatos. Good stuff.
The next day was a group breakfast with all the guys, 18 holes at the local course (I won $19 on a closest to the pin) and then a massive pigout.
Later on, back to the campfire till well into the night.
The next day it was raining. No golf so we ate breakfast and went home.
Good weekend.
