[ anakin agrees. it is harsh. how the order expects them to indulge in compassion, yet expect them not to love has always been a concept he's struggled with-- nevermind completely ignored, given that the man's married. he can't voice any of that, though. not even here. his loyalties to the order are still far too strong for him to drop those walls. ]

It's the way it is. Love leads to jealous, leads to fear, leads to hatred, leads to the Dark Side.

Yeah, love can get pretty messy alright. Though I suppose you mean a lot worse than just getting a drink in the face or a scuffle outside a bar over a lady. Dark Side doesn't sound good either.
