[ anyone who happens to come across the bridge situated across the river between houses twelve and fifteen this afternoon will find one anakin skywalker tinkering with his right arm -- the false, mechanical one. he's doing so with a small metal file, something that may seem frustrating given the look upon his face, but is actually rather enjoyable

[Ed's watching him work, quite amazed to see someone doing the maintenance for their own arm.] Did you build that or do you just know how to fix it?

[ there's a ghost of a smile on his face as he looks up at such a question. as irritated as he still was with the situation that cost him his arm, he was proud of the ones he'd built -- especially this one. ]

Impressive. There someone else here who likes making limbs like that, she made mine actually. And I bet she'd be ecstatic to see your work.

[He is of course talking about his mechanic, Winry. The work on Anakin's arm is nothing like he's ever seen, not even in Rush Valley, and he would bet money Winry would fangirl over it if she got the chance.]

[ his eyes flicker to the other male's own arm. he didn't notice it before, because it's not something that stands out to someone like him, given his own severed limb and the world he hails from. ]

She specializes in cybernetics, I take?

Uh...it's called auto-mail where I come from, don't know much more than that. Just that it works.

[Holds up his automail, twisting it and flexing the hand to show just how much like a human arm it is, ...well except for the fact it's metal.]

[ anakin eyed the automail with interest, wondering what sort of elements it was comprised of. ]
