[She's been avoiding her Comm for the most part- beyond answering people calling her, like Jet. But other than that, she can't stomach listening to the other people who've died. So many, from what it seems. She hasn't been listening to anything, and the 'new post' list has been wracking up on her little device.]

[Katara's made it back to her room

[Oh hey Zuko, what's up.]

It.. went missing with the rest of my things. [Pause. It drags on.] I think.. I died that night at the party.

[Her voice hitches slightly, but it's not in sadness. Just.. she doesn't really understand. It's so foreign. -It doesn't even occur how strange it is to not be lashing out at him right away. That he's still just Zuko; like they'd never had their fight.]

[Don't beat yourself up, Zuko. It wasn't your fault- It wasn't Sokka's, it wasn't anyone's. It had all happened so fast, even Katara hadn't known what was really going on until she woke up the next day.]

I'm alright. The wounds were gone when I woke up, so.. I'm okay. [She doesn't mind. It's comforting, really.]

[It's not hard to tell. Everyone has their share of problems; Zuko wouldn't be exempt. But how to get him to open up...]

I could use something cold to drink.. [A beat] Would it be alright if you brought me something?

[Perfect; she could lure him over and make him talk.]

[It's weird to sit and think about the fact that she'd just invited Zuko to come visit- and none of those harbored feelings of anger and betrayal surface beyond a fizzling in the bottom of her stomach. Whether she's gotten over it, or she just can't bring herself to hate someone from her world after everything that happened... She isn't sure. The lack of knowledge that her world just might be gone is a whole different story. She doesn't know- what sort of effect would that have, anyway?]

[But in the midst of her musings, the room echoes from the knocking, and she gets up to let The Zuko in.]

Hey. [Stepping aside.]

[She offers a little smile, shutting the door behind him before taking the glass. Her smile broadens and she takes a sip.]

Nope, it's perfect. [She sets the glass down on her side table before plopping onto the edge of her bed. Lets have an awkward pause, shall we?]

... So you're fine? No.. I dunno, broken bones or anything I can help with?

[Oh way to go, Zuko. Katara's expression falls, she sits up a little straighter.]

[She gets the logic behind it, but really? Were the birds so bad that- She's being unreasonable. They'd killed her. Of course it was probably a good thing they'd teamed up.]

... I'll admit I don't like hearing that, but it was probably for the best. You didn't die, so. Well- I'm not going to thank her, but you get the idea.

[She knows what you're up to, Zuko. The avoidance thing. She's played that card before- but she'll leave you alone. For now.]

I think Sokka.. I think he's lost part of his hearing. One of the birds really hurt his ear. [She rubs at her arm.] I haven't seen Toph yet, but.. I know she's alive and relatively okay. [A little shrug.]

I haven't heard from Jet since last night- Have you? [She'll play your little avoid-the-jerkbender game.]
