[Written while he sits guard outside the cargo bay. Addressed to the Kido Foundation in Bellcius. Strikes are illegible.]
Dear Miss Saori,
My apologies for the lateness of this letter. I've boarded a mercenary service ship out of Kropmork and have been put in a position of command, so my responsibilities have kept me from writing. Despite a few problems with pirates (which I was instrumental in helping to solve), our travels thus far have been insa infuriati uneventful.
We are currently engaged in a simple transport mission. The idiots crewmembers, I believe, have begun to fear respect me. I am working at spreading the influence of the Foundation, as you ordered, and enclosed are three photographs taken on shore leave of the cities where we have landed.
I will give a full report the next time we land in Bellcius.
