a different sort of christmas....
firstly, this is the first christmas that i have not spent in my home for the duration. i am currently dog sitting for my sister and brother-in-law's little assholes. change of pace but nothing i can't handle. what was very strange though and i'm still not sure i'm entirely alright with it is that last night our refrigerator stopped working. we lost the turkey, the ham, the kielbasa....and all the beer got skunked. the only thing that was okay was the liquour in the freezer because that didn't stop working, just the fridge. to make up for the food we lost, we ended up having barbecue chicken, pork tender roast, and potato salad. kinda fourth of july-esque i know, but what are you gonna do....all in all though, not a terrible day.
