I thought I was losing my mind at first. Sam helped me figure out I'm reliving peoples' memories--I saw a few of his.

I... don't really want to do that. What if I relived a bad one?

Yeah. I can imagine. I mean, it'd be kind of cool if the other person could choose the memory.

It would be. But they can't. Sam couldn't--I just got random stuff.

And in a place like this, with the kinds of pasts and demons people have? I can't take the chance.

No, I know. There's about 2% of my memories I'd absolutely not want you to have, but why take that chance?

Sam said the same thing. He didn't want me to try it on him at first in case I saw something bad.

But what about you? Is this taking-powers thing hurting you at all?

No. Actually, um...

It feels pretty good. The little taste of it I got. Like a rush, you know? But I don't think it's necessarily good for the other guy, and I don't want to risk anything.
