wednesday = count your blessings day
it's the middle of the week. day 3 of being home with ntm3 all day. day 1 of really looking forward to the weekend. so it's a good day to remember WHY i'm a lucky one. and WHY i'm so thankful for things. going to try to make this a habit.
1-the yucky impending barfy feeling. why am i thankful for this? because i'm not my poor friend who was 6 weeks behind my auri pregnancy in her pregnancy with her son. and had hyperemesis the.whole.stinkin.pregnancy. the poor thing had waited & waited for a baby & when she finally got her blessing, it was miserable. so i'm thankful i just feel impendingly barfy. it means things are going on inside. and it could be so much worse.
2-day 3 of being home with ntm3 all day. i'm SO LUCKY i get to do this! and sometimes when i've cleaned up the 14th spill of the day or asked her to get out of my chair that i'm in, too, for the 7th time in 2 minutes, it gets a little exasperating. but i'm home with her & i'm raising her & the daycare isn't. so thankful that L has this job that has us in the position to do this. one of these days there will be no more spills & no babies in my chair.
3-thankful for God's timing. He knows what He's doing, even when we don't have the faintest idea. He's got it under total control. and we don't need to worry.
