Yes. A war...and from the looks of it, it's going to be quite the nasty one.

Well, it's not like panicking about it is going to help matters any. But I certainly don't like it anymore than the next person.

......Hm. Well, I suppose that's to be expected, actually. However, if I displayed the extent to which this is bothering me, we wouldn't be having a very serene conversation right now. In short. Surely you might understand that.

But I truly don't like the sound of this war business at all. It's not going to be any good for anyone...

Everyone has their own way of showing their concern for something, at any rate.

It looks like they'll be going all out on this one, as well. Porthaven's most advanced warships have just left port this morning, and I hear there are airships being primed already in the neighboring kingdom...

Well, it's not me I'm worried about. I'll be doing everything in my power to make sure we're protected from the worst of it. But this doesn't mean well for the civialians in the countryside and cities. They'll have no line of defense at all...

Isn't there anyplace they can go?

Evacuation will be an option, yes. But the neighboring kingdom has a penchance for attacking without warning, therein from the air. There is no sure way for them to know when they will strike, or how.

But isn't a gamble better than just waiting for the inevitable?
