(no subject)
i've been back 2 days and had a decent social life from the start, but still have yet to see any friends from school so far. last night was anai and lourdes' birthday. Lourdes inevitably had planned a party at a club in hollywood, but anai's was done at her house. i went, expecting it to be one of the usual small dinners, fun but short. it turned out to be a large affair, in which there was a looud music and a ton of people. anai herself onlay had about 4 friends there, but tony had 10-15, junior had like 3, and many other family members came including pamela, mariela, jesus, laly, luis, etc. i had a blast. luis gave me the top-secret info that our camping trip for the "younger people" is reserved for the 4th of july next year, and i assured him i'm definitely in. so for the first time in years, i won't be at the ranch that weekend. anyone want to come? should be cheap since so many of us are going.
dad: want a beer?
me: i have to drive, remember?
dad: ohhh yeah...well, i can drive.
me: one, we have 2 cars here, and 2, you're drinking.
dad: i haven't had much to drink, you can have a few beers if you want, and we'll only take 1 car home and come get the other one tomorrow.
me: no thanks.
i think i'm becoming sort of straight edge...i don't like drinking as much as i used to...even in mexico i hardly drank (much to tony's surprise and disappointment)
today i took my mom to see harry potter. she loved it. i saw ashley on our way out...nice to see a familiar face.
wednesday blair, lori, and i are going to the ranch...til sunday. should be fun.
that's about it...farewell and call me if you miss me and want to do something tonight.
