[She's currently blaming herself, mostly. She's usually on top of things like this. Casual sex is fine, but she's so careful about birth control and protection. She'd sworn that she'd taken her pill, but they'd had drinks and one thing had led to another... Well, most of the evening is quite fuzzy, except for the fantastic sex. Still, she supposes it could be worse. At least she likes Greg.]

I would hope not. It doesn't change the fact that I'm still pregnant. What are we going to do about it?

*It's a good thing he likes her too. But liking someone and suddenly dealing with the fact that the two of you will now have a child is entirely different.*

I suppose.. getting married is out of the picture? *He's hesitant as he asks. They don't really love each other, that much is obvious, but it's a friendly relationship. She deserves to be with someone she loves, not someone out of necessity. And as for Greg, well, he might be more receptive to the idea of being a father if he isn't entirely tied down. Unfortunately, it will not encourage him to keep it in his pants either.*

[She can't help the loud, indelicate snort that escapes her, and she claps a hand over her mouth, eyes widening slightly. She lowers her hand, clearing her throat in an attempt to compose herself before answering.] Greg, I love you, you're a very dear friend to me, but I really don't think marriage is the best solution. It's not that you'd make a terrible husband; I'd make a terrible wife. [Actually, she's not entirely sure that's true, but she can't see herself marrying Greg, not right now.]

Besides, we both know you're not the monogamous type. [She gives him a fond smile; she doesn't hold it against him. It's just the lifestyle of an agent, it seems.] So, no, we won't be getting married.

[She takes a deep breath, exhaling slowly.] That, of course, doesn't answer the question of what we're going to do about i- [No, it isn't fair to the baby to label it as an "it." It doesn't make it seem real that way.] What we're going to do about the baby. There is always adoption or... [She hesitates, knowing it's a sensitive subject, but they have to explore all options.] ...abortion.
