Learning new things.

Went to the Vitamin Shoppe yesterday with Vegas wife looking for training supplements.

Helpful clerk:"One of the fastest ways to kick start your metabolism is to eat first thing in the morning. Wake up at 6. Eat at 6:15. Your body will thank you."

Me: Woke up at 7:45. 7:58 eat last night's leftover pizza.

I'm not sure this will help.

Hmmmm.....I don't know about that one! I heard you shouldn't eat anything except either protein or raw fruit before lunch.

Not that that's my breakfast...just saying I heard that somewhere.

'Twas an all-meat pizza with ground beef, pepperoni, ham, and sausage.

That help anything? ;-)

Now that I can get back into the gym again, it won't matter anyway. Time to re-enter psychotic training mode. Vegas wife signed up for a women's half marathon, which means I get to train just to stand at the finish line cheering. So next week...

Protein Shake early breakfast.
10AM fruit/cereal
1PM balanced healthy lunch
4PM Fruit
7PM balanced dinner
Bedtime Protein Shake.

It's worked so far.

Still....one day I'll be a runner....

Until then:
8am coffee and a peanut butter sandwich
12pm cook lean cuisine whatever
1:30pm...eat it after remembering it was in the microwave still
4pm box of vegetables
7pm dinner....a real one because every good "wife in training" should have meat and potatoes on the table every night. ;) well...last night was Swedish Meatballs...but close enough.
