Ok, so I've been doing boot camp since last... Octoberish, with a couple breaks here and there. Well, today, I decided it was time to use the iPod Nike+ thing again and work out on my own. My boot camp instructor is cutting the workouts down to twice a week, so I'm dropping and finding a new workout regimen.
I looked at my stats today after I finished my run. I've actually done a lot of running over the last six months but this is only the third time I used the iPod.
Nov last year: 1.4 miles at a 13:04 pace.
Dec last year: 1.58 miles at a 12:29 pace.
Today? 2.27 miles at a 10:36 pace.
That's not a long run or a record breaking pace, but it shows I've increased my endurance and cut almost TWO MINUTES off my mile pace.
And have I mentioned that I hate running with a passion? Because I do! At least I'm getting better at it. I never get that runner's high, though. I seem to stall at runner's cramp.
