[Zoisite's out and about today. This hasn't been a good month for him, not at all, and right now he's just out getting a breath of fresh air. Maybe picking up a few things - sheets, pillows, curtains - replacements for what he burned, but other than that he just seems to be pacing around a bit restlessly.]

[When Zoisite finally returns to the house, he'll find Yuan sitting at the kitchen table. The guy won't move when he enters, either. Nope, Yuan will just be sitting there, staring blankly at the wall before him. He knows Zoisite is there, he just can't be bothered to acknowledge it.]

[He's been adjusting to the emptiness of the house - so Yuan's presence is actually quite alarming. His mind immediately leaps to kidnapping or something equally unwelcome - he's even reaching for a weapon, but he stops.]

Oh. When did you-[He means to sound snarky and arrogant - but that dies once he notices the complete lack of response.] ... Yuan?

[Still nothing. Not even a grunt of recognition. The most Zoisite gets -if he pays attention, that is-, is something that resembles a sigh, were it not for the fact that Yuan hasn't opened his mouth. He's breathing through his nose.]

[... this isn't right at all. Zoisite sets his things down on the counter and makes his way over.]

Yuan?

[And just like that, Zoisite's crossed the boundary of tolerance. Yuan's eyes are closed, but it's clear he's annoyed.]

... Leave me.

[Yeah- - no. Zoisite's not moving.]

Where the hell have you been?

Did you not read the message addressed to you before I left?

[It's right there in his journal, man. He was leaving town for a while.]

No.

[He's been completely avoiding everything for the past week. A certain note hoping for reconciliation left by his missing lover saw to that tantrum.]

Then read it.

[That tone of voice was very impatient. But really, what kind of right does Zoisite have to demand information if he can't even be bothered to read a brief note that was meant for him?]

[Irritably, he flips the book open and checks that entry. Alright. Yes. He was gone for almost another week.]

That doesn't explain why you're trying to stare a hole through the wall.

[Zoisite can "Yuan" all he wants, but that won't make the situation any better. In fact, Yuan's starting to get frustrated by that nosy attitude. None of what happened concerns his housemate. None of it.]

[It's absolutely infuriating when no one listens to you. Since Kunzite's arrival he's been forced to realize just how his perceptions of people had changed - and he's been forced to question when he started caring about them.]

Fine. [He hisses through his teeth slowly.] If you're going to do this, go be a zombie in your own room!

[Normally, Yuan wouldn't take kindly to being bossed around, but right now he couldn't care less. If it'll get Zoisite out of his hair, he'll gladly move elsewhere. In fact, maybe he should've just locked himself in his room to begin with.

He places a hand on the table and, without another word, pushes himself to his feet.]

[This simply isn't his... month. At all. There's no sharp retort -that catches him off guard. This isn't worth it. Zoisite glares and stalks off to his room.

Maybe in an hour or two he'll risk attempting to talk again.]
