((OCC D&D INFORMATION GATHERING))
Okay so I am going on hiatus for Quite Some Time in a week, but when I get back I'd like to try and run the SBG D&D campaign.
To help me figure out the logistics of this (I will have free time while on my hiatus) I need some information from you, the players.
1. Who is going to play?
2. What kind of character do they want to play?
If Larry's post was any indication I can tell you right now that we're going to have two different adventuring parties (probably doing the same scenario, I am lazy). I will try to divide things up so we don't have one party of buff wizards and one party of buff fighters. Unless that's most hilarious, then I'm going with that idea.
I will be basing my stuff off of D&D 3.0-3.5 stuff as that's what I'm familiar with and could fake things up easiest for. And I will peg the campaign (at least in my mind if nothing else) at 3rd 4th level.
Races:
Humans - are boring
Elves - are mystical fops
Dwarves - are sturdy and drunken
Half-elves - are more foppish than humans, less mystical than elves
Halflings - are tiny trickster badasses
Gnomes - are tiny magical badasses
Classes:
Barbarian - You get angry and hit things with weapons
Bard - You sing songs and cast magic and hit things with weapons and yet you aren't very good at anything you do
Cleric - You wear armor and do nothing but cast Cure Light Wounds
Druid - You are a smelly hippy who has an animal friend and casts smelly hippy magic
Fighter - You hit things with weapons really good
Monk - You are a poor hippy who hits things with his fists
Paladin - You are a lawful-good asshole who hits things with weapons
Ranger - You are a smelly hippy park ranger who hits things with swords or shoots them with arrows but everybody picks swords.
Rogue - You constantly get into melee combat for extra damage even though you have hardly any hitpoints, also you have 1 squillion skills
Sorceror - You cast a lot of magic spells but you never bother to cast anything besides 'magic missile'
Wizard - You know a lot of magic spells but you never bother to prepare anything besides 'magic missile'
I... I may make character sheets for all of you in my spare time if you want.
