Angel had left Fandom without talking to anyone.

Angel had gone back to LA without talking to anyone.

Angel had spent all his time since arriving in LA - wait for it - not talking to anyone.

Which was why he was in his room, with only Sean for company.

There were many nice aspects to Sean, one of which was that he never asked Angel to talk.

Logan figured he wasn't going to be welcomed, so he didn't bother to knock. He just let himself in, closed the door carefully and sat down. He had a small wrapped box in his hands. "Merry Christmas," he said.

There were so many ways Angel expected his first post-souling conversation with Logan to start... and that was exactly none of them.

"What?"

"Today is the twenty-fifth of December. Big local holiday. Here," he handed the box to Angel. "Merry Christmas."

Angel opened the box more out of automatic habit than anything. His eyebrows quirked upward - which was an amazing show of emotion when you consider who we're talking about here - when he saw what was inside.
