Angel was in his room. After the events of yesterday he looked... normal. As though nothing at all had happened. Ever.

He sat at his desk and worked on homework, and preparing for finals.

Angel was getting ready to go to class, but Logan's knock brought him up short. A flicker of nerves shot through him but he quickly shoved it down.

"Hey, Logan. C'mon in."

Logan walked into the room and leaned against a wall. "Radio said you had lots of people in here yesterday. Did you throw an orgy and not invite me?" he teased.

That got a small smile out of him. "Yeah, well, no booze. Knew it wasn't your scene."

"Hey, I am open to all forms of depravity. Could see how it'd be weird having me here, though, with Bel and Veronica here. Together. What was up with that, anyway?"

"They were coming after Piper," Angel said. He sat down on his bed, motioning for Logan to make himself comfy on the couch if he wanted. Sean trotted over to try to chew Logan's shoes. "She turned into a Fury."

Logan flopped down on the couch and scratched Sean behind the ears. "What's a Fury?" he asked.

"Attacked me, but I'm fine," Angel said. He pointed to where she'd scratched him, the skin now looking like nothing had happened. "Bel got the worst of it, apparently."

"Yeah?" Logan said, trying not to look pleased. Okay, he wasn't trying all that hard. "What'd she do to Bel?"

Angel stood up, which funnily enough cut off chances for eye contact. "No different than when I get souled."
