Angel had been a bit silly the night before.

Today? He was tired.

At some point he'd start to learn what cause and effect meant.

Today was not that day.

Visitors were welcome, though they might notice something new on the door.

Book's been exchanged for the laptop Logan loaned him. He's sort-of watching DVDs, but if quizzed he wouldn't be good on any of the details.

After Creature Languages, Molly went to visit Angel. She blinked when she saw the new machine on the wall. Hesitating for just a moment, she reached up and pulled at the paper stub. She was rewarded with a paper ticket and a handful of jujubes. Grinning, she looked at her ticket and then at the screen. After just a moment the number on the display changed to match the number on her ticket. Only then did Molly knock on the door.

"The machine thingy hanging on the wall outside your door," Molly pointed back out the door. "I had to take a number and it gave me jujubes too."

"The what doing what now?" Angel went to the door and opened it to take a look. "Huh. How long has that been there?"

"I'm going to assume someone put it there and the door didn't spontaneously start growing mechanical devices," Angel said, closing the door again. "I'll sleep better that way."

Molly just grinned.

"So, I stopped by to see if you had another mission for me. And to give you your hug of course."

He gave her as tight a hug as he could, even lifting her off the ground a few inches.
