Veronica had asked Angel for a favor. Though she hadn't tilted her head at him, come to think of it. Angel felt he could do that favor.

He just hoped he didn't screw it up.

Sean attacked Logan's hand with licks. His tail wagged hard enough to stir up a light breeze.

"Hey," Angel said. "Um. So I heard it's your birthday?"

"Yup." Logan said. "Eighteen. Legal and everything. Which means I can..." Logan considered for a moment. "Um. Vote, register for the draft and sleep with anyone eighteen or older." He shrugged.

"I'm sure," Logan said. "At least my girlfriend's of age, so we're all legal-like. Which of course won't keep her dad from kicking my ass if he finds out, but he's rather conveniently on the other side of the country."

Not knowing what else to say to that, Angel decided to move on to the gift portion of the visit. He went over to his bureau and took a present out of the drawer. Again not knowing what to say, Angel held it out. It was flat, rectangular, and wrapped with paper that was covered with snowmen.
