Does anyone remember the title or author of this series?
I remember reading it in middle-school (which, for me, would've been the early-mid '90s). It was this post-apocalyptic setting, featuring two teenagers, a boy and a girl (with the obligatory sexual tension, unless I'm just making that part up). I think they had to run from mudslides. And possibly locusts. And there was some guy in the middle of nowhere with a post-apocalyptic zoo.
Anyone? I swear I didn't make this up.
