All I have to say is, people can be mean
I have had two friends tell me of their attempts
I’ve been accused of being emo
I’ve been hurt and shit does happen
But all I have to say is it’s serious
Pain is real
Everyone has some
And everyone has problems
This is not a cry for help
This is a warning, to everyone
This a heads up
It’s easy to hate
But it takes serious courage to love
To trust
And people burn you
And others let you down
But don’t be one of those people
Be one of the few people in this world that make others smile
Be the ones who encourage
Be the ones to care
Be the ones who listen
Be the ones who are there.
Teasing and making fun, may pass the time
But it causes wounds too
This is not to say that I’m perfect
Sometimes I cower away,
And simply follow the crowd
But honestly be nice
And be yourself
Some think death will erase all their problems
That silences the voices is better than living
Some think that once they’re dead they’ll be able to hear what people thought of them
Maybe they think that they will be able to see who would care
Who would cry and who would forget
Some think that it’s a solution when there is none in this world
Maybe they think its better not to breathe, since breathing is painful
Maybe they just want their fifteen minutes of fame
And maybe they just wanted to know who loved them
So those still on this earth, forget your fear
And throw aside your pride
Say how you feel
And show others you appreciate them
Don’t simply think it aloud in your mind
Express it
Maybe it could say someone’s life
All I have to say is talk to people
All I have to say is don’t give up
I know how it feels
I know what can happen
I have not experienced everything bad in the world
But I’ve had my taste
I’m not the answer to people’s problems but I am here
The world is a better place because you’re in it
