First Day of Classes

Aug 28, 2006 10:46

So this morning at 7:40 I began my adventure across campus to my 8am Spanish class. Now let me remind you all that I haven't taken Spanish since I was a junior at RHS. It was a litte scary. He explained everything about the class in English and then all of a sudden he was like alright and just began speaking in Spanish fast than I was ready to comprehend Spanish this morning. It wasn't awful, but def. not what I was ready for. I hope it gets easier as it goes. Then I went to Chemistry. This class was what college is about. It's in a huge lecture hall and there are soo many kids. It was a cool feeling I must say. The class doesn't seem to difficult and especially since I took AP Chem, maybe I'll get it. I have Calc 2 this afternoon. I'm a little worried, but I think I'll be okay. AP Calc was so much fun and I feel like I took a lot from that class. I just hope I remember everything and can catch on quickly. I hope everyone in Richmond is doing well. I miss everyone being in one place and seeing everyone everyday, but IU is amazing. Everyone should have this experience. It's nice to live on your own and to be able to do whatever you want. I must say that having Matt, Evan, and Jon right across the street has made this whole experience even better. They have made the transition soo much easier and there are lots of cool guys on their floor. I am coming home this weekend because I have family coming from KY. I know almost everyone is coming here, but I'm going there. :-) My email is kalabrow@indiana.edu, so feel free to email me! Love and miss you all!
