The Master cleared his throat and the staff fumbled to attention, looking at their Master in horror. They hadn't expected a visit.
"We want breakfast, tea and something for the fog."
Yes, he was talking about the Doctor.
The staff scrambled around to fill the Master's orders and set up a table on the Valiant's veranda for the pair. The Doctor looked really quite stoic, his eyes dark and downcast as he followed the Master along like the beast he was called. He didn't mind. Dogs were lovely creatures. Time Lords happened to be better of course, but Time Lords were, by Gallifrey's definition, better than anything and everyone.
It was just the way of the universe! It was why the Doctor would not, would never, kill the Master. He'd save him, after this.
If he didn't die of dry toast poisoning first.
"Hmm toast again! Can't get enough!" he spouted, plinking down at the table.
It was never wise for the Doctor to bait him, he never was good at letting harmless comments slip by. Laughing, the Master clapped his hands together, turning his face to the Doctor with that evil little smile in place. Poor Doctor. Poor naive little doggie was definitely in for a bad week.
"You like the toast? Brilliant, you can have it for breakfast, lunch annnd dinner. Good too. I'm tired of scrambling for leftovers."
Smirking, the Master headed back out the kitchen, determined to do nothing for himself.
All he did was lead the Doctor back.
