Who: Broken Master & Broken Doctor
When: Sometime after the plan to rule the world!
The Doctor cried out and pulled his hand to his mouth. This was the sixth time since they started that he had nearly maimed himself. Generally, this would not be a problem, but he really did need his hands to keep working. He and the Master had spent the last two weeks on the Junkyard Planet, sometimes with Rose though generally alone. They were working on big things, very big things. This particular 'big thing' was a ten person cargo unit, a massive old space ship from several thousand centuries ahead of where Earth currently was in progression of society. It also was, according to his tests, about 95% likely to explode upon entering orbit and that would not do. They needed to have their payload reach the ground.
So far, two Time Lords had managed what a crew of fifteen normally would have in about the same amount of time. They were both master tinkerers and had sealed and patched every leak with anything that they could find. That didn't say much for structural integerity as a whole, but it would do. During their time in construction, both Master and Doctor had suffered from almost too many injuries and the nano-genes in the Doctor's screwdriver were beyond repleted.
The Doctor got up from the dirt and wandered inside the craft to where the Master and Colin were happily inspecting the piloting console. "I'm going to get scars at this rate!"
