Nine Months Later
After evil_storvik's escape, Captain Jellico of the Imperial Murgatroid assigned me to the task of determining his escape route. I have done so, and improved upon it. Storvik only had a way out of our universe, where I also have a way back.
The difficult part was that the device was damaged in Storvik's escape. Luckily, it incorporated self-repair ciruitry...otherwise, I would have had a much harder time of it. After attempting to use the device, I discovered that it could only be used by one who espoused pacifism. I spent much of the time learning meditative techniques to fool the device into letting me use it.
Thwarting Storvik's assassination attempt on our Captain earned me a promotion to first officer. Retrieving Storvik...or the important parts of him...should get me my own warship. And my own warship is something I have need for. Storvik is relatively intelligent, very ruthless, and extremely predictable. No doubt he will have attempted to search out a gang of ruthless Vulcans to follow him...
