i think i needed to explain more about why they cause emotions. maybe.
like how shockwave overreacts more with soundwave, which kinda leads back to the whole melodramatic thing. and the fact that he often doesn't know 100% what he's feeling, so he's always somewhat uncertain and he just can't logically work any of it out, nor can he understand when he does something and soundwave illogically gets upset with him. so he overreacts even if he doesn't know he is.

that's because shockwave tends to forget to encrypt things when relationship talk comes up. his brain only reminds him to encrypt things when he's talking powers or future plots.
