Late night rambling!
Why so serious?? Before I even begin on this ever so needed vent/update... If you havent seen The Dark Knight, which I've sure you have because everyone and there mother saw it before me! Go see it! I want to see it again and again and again! It's sweet.
Anyway, this last month and beginning of the new one has been absolutely epic! So much has gone on in just a couple weeks that it's absolutely crazy! Where to begin? Well I'll start with first thing first; Rod ya know, the failure of a store manager that I've been putting up with for entirely too long, ya him.. He got the boot. Rodrigo Rodriguez finally got what was coming to him at the end of it all! Time clock fraud will do that to you, I guess. Rod and I had our good times, awesome times in fact.. but that'll never happen and that chapter of my book of friendships is over. I say that because he, the 32 year old man mind you, is blaming me for him getting fired. It's not all entirely my fault, if you're doing something wrong it doesn't matter what is said, you shouldn't have been doing it wrong in the beginning. He got suspended on June 15th and fired the following week. Things have changed so much in the short time that he's been gone. Heather and I are kicking butt, and getting our asses kicked in the process. Yes, I am fighting for the store manangement position, I'd like to think that they will consider me since I've been running it with and with out Rod, but I am very green to management... so I'll just keep optimistic. =/ It has been some serious stressfu Back to School season though, let me tell ya. Vans as a company is so ass backwards, I'm not sure how anyone, included myself can handle it. It's pretty even acrossed the board in all stores that everyone is stressed to the max. It's almost 3 am I just got home a little while ago from Vans world... we got a new district manager who is extremely strict and kind of an asshole, he came in the store and told us that he was disappointed in all the orlando stores, and that we better shape it up. So I'll be working overnights for the rest of the week to get everything done! Ah.. nuts. Poor Richard, I've been dragging him and christian to every overnight shift with me..
I just had an amazing last couple of days though, one of my crazy but totally awesome friends came into town from Florida.. and we did absolutely nothing but entirely too much in like 3 days. I'm running on no sleep! He's leaving tomorrow, I'm sad to see him go! He was one of Sammie's friends from the disney program just like everyone else in my life, and now he's just an amazing friend to all of us! It was great to see him.
My lease is up in 3 months, sweet! I wanna move downtown so bad... sad thing is I don't know even though I'm pissed at emily so much, if I could actually leave her. I'm not sure she could afford living on her own. Hell I'm not even sure I can afford to live on my own. I guess we will see what happens.
The 'rents came down for a visit and we had one of the most amazing times together. It was absolutely awesome, we headed to daytona, clearwater and then ended in St Augustine which was amazing!
I need to go home soon, see the friends. I am in some serious need for some Miller boys in my life. Jp and Tj I sincerly miss you guys! And the sisters, it's been too long since I've seen them. I'd like to go home next month with Sammie, she's going home for her 21st birthday. But I have to see what's going on with my job and school...
