[Hanna is a mermaid.

Yes, indeed. And she even looks happy about it, her hair is all around her, and she kept only her bra on]

This. Is so cool - look -

[She moves the PCD so it'll face upward and then she swims up, up to the surface - from the looks of it she jumped right out of the water and then in again. She swirls around and looks giddy]

[Juliet is so jealous of that ability at the moment. She's still not gotten the hang of this swimming thing.]

Lady Hanna, how did you learn to swim like that so quickly?

I just - practiced. We could try and swim together if you'd like.

Maybe - but you never went swimming? I'm not the best swimmer but - you know one of my best friends Emily is a professional. She does competitions and such.

Never. Verona has no lakes or ocean nearby. We are in the northern part of the Italian peninsula, nearer the mountains. There are rivers, but one does not learn to swim in a river.

A professional swimmer? [She can't help but giggle at this.] I knew not there was a call for such talents. She competes, as if in a race?

Yeah she does all sorts of races and such in the water - totally helps to keep a good figure. But I was never into that kind of swimming.

I try to do all the moves in the Little Mermaid movies, but it's getting kinda hard. I love my hair in the water though-

Movies? Ah, but it is good you have a reference from which to draw. I must learn as I go, and the movements of fish provide little to help me. Their tails are not turned the same way as mine own.

[She frowns just a little.]

I will disagree with you concerning hair. It keeps floating across my eyes when I move, and makes it difficult to see. I must find something with which to pull it back more securely than my usual hair ornaments.

You need a scrunchy Juliet - I can give you one.

A - a scrunchy?

[This word is most odd-sounding.]

Yeah see - [She'll show you the one on her hand] It'll hold your hair back.

I see. It is like a hair ribbon, but it is one loop.
