So does this mean we've come out of retirement??/
Last week I posted pics of SHARP PARK where we often go camping. Whilst we were there, I noticed that there was no overseers. So I rang the people who manage sharp park and asked them if they were looking for someone to oversee at the moment. They were surprised we rang, but asked for details. Then Sat we got a phone call asking us to come out and have a chat on Sunday which we did. So long story short, we are taking our van out there next week (probably on Friday) and setting ourselves up to look after the place during the week. We get free campsite, free electricity and water, in exchange for collecting money Monday thru to Thursday, cleaning the toilets once per day, and being available to sell firewood to campers if they require it.
Woo hoo. Something different, and we are looking forward to it. Hopefully friends & family will not hesitate to come out and visit. we've explained to the managers that we are waiting for deliver of our new van, and will be looking at taking off in April, this is ok with them. So we are about to embark on something completely different in our life.
