Aaaw! I have not seen a koala in my backyard for years. I did see a whole lot at Lake Cootharaba once many years ago when we camped there.

I'm a little confused about the Koala situation - in Queensland we are told they are in danger of becoming extinct, but in SA we've been told that in some areas they are in plague proportions and they are being culled?

Makes me sad :(

Oh, what an adorable little animal. We have nothing at all like that here. What kind of tree is he eating from? Is that his favorite food?

Koalas eat only gum leaves, and only specific gum leaves.

We are led to believe that Koalas are in danger of becoming extinct, but since we've been in the southern states, we've been told that in some areas in the south, that they are in plague proportions, and in some cases are even being culled :(
