We've been staying at the "trolls" house (caravan parked in her front yard - yep we looked like trailer trash!!) for two weeks. This morning we left the Gold Coast and are now at Wooli staying at the caravan park that is managed by our friends Chris & Anne. We'll stay here for a week, then are moving on to my friend Lesley's house (she lives on quite a few acres, and has plenty of room for us, even though she is in the process of trying to sell said house!!).
This was taken at "the spit" the "hoons" get together here to show off their hotted up cars, we stood out like the proverbial in our family sized 4x4!
On Wednesday I met Gracie in Brisbane and we went to this lovely little cafe for lunch:
I liked this car covered in flowers:
As we left the Gold Coast this morning, it was "bucketing down"
I managed to get a pic of the new car with the caravan (as you can see, we haven't loaded the boat on top of the car yet!)
Grafton is the closest bigger town to Wooli, and it was still raining when we passed through:
Now tell me, have you ever driven over a bridge that has, not one, but THREE bends in it???
