randomness of week 4!
this week passed by in a zoom as i wondered whyyy i am still so seemingly busy despite this being like prelims mad mugging period. i will make sure i spend hell lot of time catching up with my schedule :P
Jess came and went this week and boy 2 years really passes in the blink of an eye (haha pardon the use of stock phrases) it amazes me how we've all come so far since the primary school days and how different we are. but hey coming from the same roots of gongshang there's still that connection there somewhere and i guess to put things in her words, we're pretty lucky to be still in contact :) this gathering really made me feel old but as always with her it's a bit of a crazy thing we were mistaken/forced to pretend to be twins on orchard road by this group of crazed up uni freshmen on orientation and took a picture with their og, then a korean tourist got us to take photos with his family! lol xD it was pretty funny! haven't felt that crazy in a while.
ate good food and drank coffee at tully's where i was completely amazed at how much kids in canada earn for holiday jobs--2000?! freak i can't even get a portion of that lol. ion's truly a food heaven it's now on my post a levels list to work and sample every single in B4 food hall hahaha.
anw today i had another session with ms ng everything's more like a car ride convo alr. i stepped out of stamford room at like 6+ and walked my way to marymount. the setting sun illuminated every single blade of grass there was on the blank field beside the pavement and it was so so so very beautiful. and funny how i never realise it every morning when i walk in the opposite direction, towards school. there's a lot to learn in life, and a lot to learn from a different perspective too.
i will be like a farmer. put my best shot in sowing the seeds, then when november comes i'll just wait very patiently for them to bear fruit :)
