I have to get this off my chest
OK, maybe being truthful isn't always a good thing (and also my time of the month starts tomorrow).Rae, you will probably have heard about it from Sarah by the time you read this so I don't think I really need to go into the details again.
I'm a bitch and I know it, but it's the goddamn truth. I now realize that Sarah didn't ask my opinion so I should have just kept my mouth shut, but she's setting herself up for heartache. Let me say now : you know I hate Kenneth, but if I thought that this would bring Sarah happiness, I would shut up and wish her well. But the facts are:
a.) He has a girlfriend - Yes, they were going through a rough patch last September. Yes, he pressured her into having sex with him which is usually the beginning of the end, but since then they've been spending more time with each other. He waits for her outside of Psych. everyday just to say hi or give her a kiss and with the exception of when she has band related stuff, they spend all their free time together, not having sex, if you were thinking that.
b.) I know Cecilia - Cecil is in my Psych class and I've known her since freshman year. Ashley and I hear first hand what's going on with them everyday. She's told us everything from where he stashes his porn (in his sock drawer) to the whole sex thing. If he is dumping her anytime soon, she has no inkling what so ever.
c.) Sarah & Kenneth don't even talk to each other - Yes, I'm a bitch but I have to say it.I know he gives her looks in class but does he try to talk to her? no. Sarah wouldn't even ask him to switch subjects with her on a project. She had Berto, who is far more antisocial than Sarah, do it. Yes, we know that he feels bad for what he did in the past and I think he realizes that it was a big mistake. Sarah is his one that got away,it was his own fault, and he still likes her. But he hasn't acted on it.
OK maybe it wasn't right to say she's obsessed with Kenneth. More like intensely infatuated. But Sarah has a pattern of going for guys that are emotionally unavailable and you know it. And just because Dre's girlfriend says that he thinks Ken should break up with Cecil that doesn't mean he has told this to Ken or that Ken will even listen. I just don't think she should get her hopes up again after all thats happened. I Love her and don't want to see her get hurt again by him or anyone else.If I thought she'd get a storybook ending, I'd say go for it Cecil, be damned, you're my best friend and I support you in whatever you do. But the reality is I don't.
